Red Bull x Donuts&Juice
Summary
Designed and launched Donuts&Juice, a branded event with Red Bull Portugal at Rooftop Eva, a playful, visually loud party format that connected Red Bull’s energy with the venue’s summer vibe.
Context / Problem
This was my first collaboration with a global brand, with just one month to produce. The event came during a tough tourism season, demanding a high-appeal concept to drive traffic. Red Bull acted as sponsor, granting creative freedom, but with high expectations for quality and brand alignment.
Strategy
I created the entire identity from scratch: naming, logo, and a graphic system inspired by donut glaze and summer textures. Motion played a key role, teaser animations, looping visuals for Red Bull’s venue screens, and a full set of content optimized for Instagram, projections, and live VJ sets. The idea was to blend Red Bull’s boldness with playful layering, giving guests a strong, immersive atmosphere that extended across every touchpoint, poster, screen, social, and venue decor.
Results
- Guests highly engaged with the visuals, strong tagging rate on social media
- Positive informal feedback from Red Bull Portugal’s regional team
- Donuts&Juice became a recurring summer event at Rooftop Eva
- Set a new internal benchmark for branded collaborations, raising the perceived value of events
Takeaways / Credits
This project showed me how powerful it is to anchor design in both texture and lifestyle context, not just flat graphics. It also highlighted the difference between brand-backed depth and surface-level replication.
