Identity

IDENTITY

Summary
Created a raw, resource-conscious event identity that was later selected by Danish design studio “IDENTITY”  as one of the standout international student projects.

Context / Problem
The brief was to design an identity for an event with a strong visual impact. With limited resources available, the challenge became how to make something bold and memorable without relying on polished or expensive materials.

Strategy
I chose to work with everyday, disposable elements (black trash bags and spray paint) transforming them into the foundation of the identity. This approach hinted at environmental responsibility and creative reuse, while also giving the project a gritty, urban energy. The process emphasized constraints as a driver of originality.

Results

  • Delivered a unique visual system built from limited, low-cost materials
  • The project was acknowledged internationally, highlighted by a Danish Design Studio as an example of strong conceptual execution
  • Demonstrated how minimal resources can still create professional-level outcomes

Takeaways / Credits
This project taught me that restriction fuels creativity, materials don’t define the impact, the idea does. Recognition by an external studio confirmed that strong concepts resonate beyond context or budget.
